update (14 September 2018): Frank Solomon's video is out now!

Wesgro, the Official Tourism & Trade, Investment Promotion Agency for Cape Town and the Western Cape, has teamed up with internationally acclaimed local surfers Jordy Smith, Mikey February and Frank Solomon for its new #ItsAllStillHere tourism campaign. The campaign showcases the beauty and epic surf conditions in Cape Town and the Western Cape. At the same time the campaign reminds of the worst drought the region ever suffered from and points out that this extraordinary destination is "all still here". The #ItsAllStillHere tourism campaign kicks off with three short videos which feature Jordy, Mikey and Frank explaining their personal relationship with water, and how the recent drought affected not only them, but the province as a whole. The first video, featuring South Africa's top-rated surfer Jordy Smith, has already been released. The other two videos, which will feature pro surfer and Hout Bay local Frank Solomon as well as Michael February, a young and aspiring pro surfer from Kommetjie, will follow soon. We'll keep you posted!
