Airports Council International (ACI), the only global trade representative of the world's airport authorities, has announced the winners of the prestigious 2017 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards. Mohammed V International Airport (CNM) in Casablanca was named Best Airport in Africa 2017 (over 2 million passengers per year), followed by Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU) on Mauritius and King Shaka International Airport (DUR) in Durban. George Airport (GRJ) in George scooped the award for Best Airport in Africa 2017 (under 2 million passengers per year), while Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi was recognized as most-improved airport in Africa 2017.
