update (20 Sept 2013): Work at the entrance road to the Storms River Mouth Rest Camp is now expected to be completed by November 2013, with only finishing touches being performed in December 2013.
The entrance road to the Storms River Mouth Rest Camp, the only entrance road to the Tsitsikamma section of the Garden Route National Park, was approved for upgrading and work underway is scheduled to end by 08 December 2013. The upgrades include excavation and repairs to the road as well as re-tarring the surface. There will be stop and go's once the work commences but South African National Parks (SANParks) promises do their best to ensure that this has a minimal impact on our visitors' experience.
