Namibia: Kulala & NamibRand Nature Reserves - fence has been dropped!

The boundary fence between the Kulala Nature Reserve (37 000ha), owned by Wilderness Safaris, to the NamibRand Nature Reserve (172 200ha) in Namibia has been dropped in a bid to better manage environmental concerns.

The agreement of the two organisations is focusing on natural resource management and unrestricted wildlife movements between the reserves. Both organisations have agreed to work together in the interest of conservation. In the future, wildlife management and research within this area will be undertaken cooperatively. The land is currently being rehabilitated.
