The
Afrovibe Outreach Roadtrip will take off on the 4th of December 2009 from George in the Western Cape and end on arrival in
Durban, Kwazulu Natal on the 20th of December a total distance of nearly 2000 Kilometers will be covered. A team of 6 will work their way up and around the Garden Route, the Sunshine Coast and the Wild Coast.
The purpose of the trip is to gather funding to assist orphanages, community crèches, schools and child headed households. The team will assist by providing food packages, helping with repairs to community buildings and providing educational resources to underprivileged locals. Afrovibe is still confirming exactly what work they will be doing at the various places were they stop.
There are raffle tickets for sale at R20 per ticket, the 1st prize is 2 nights accomodation at Afrovibe Lodge including an adventure. 2nd Prize is R1000 cash. The Raffel tickets can be bought at Afrovibe Lodge. People who are not in the area can buy tickets online - pls contact Leigh to get to know the details.
