Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has informed the public that the passport control at Cape Town International Airport (CPT) in Cape Town has been experiencing technical difficulties, which is resulting in slower passenger processing and long queues. ACSA is therefor urging passengers to allow extra time when travelling to Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
For domestic flights within South Africa, ACSA usually suggests to arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure to complete check-in procedures.
For international flights, ACSA usually suggests to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure to complete check-in procedures.
