South African low cost airline FlySafair is set to introduce flights to Zanzibar in Tanzania. The flights will be between OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg and Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar City on the island of Zanzibar. Bookings are now open and flights will commence on 08 April 2023. Flights will depart Johannesburg at 20:15 on Saturdays and arrive on Zanzibar at 00:40 on the following day. The return flight will depart Zanzibar at 01:40 on Sundays and arrive in Johannesburg at 04:25.
