Namibia's President, Dr. Hage G. Geingob, announced on the occasion of the 31st Covid-19 briefing on the national response measures on 31 July 2021 that the existing Public Health Regulations (as of 30 June 2021) remain in force. The Cabinet has assessed the impact of the current measures and has resolved, based on key indicators, to maintain and extend the current Public Health Regulations for a period of sixteen days until 31 July 2021.
This hopefully also means that the tourism guidelines, released by Namibia's Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism on 01 July 2021, also remain in place. According to the guidlines, there are no travel restrictions applicable to international tourists once they comply with the provisions outlined in the appended protocols. We'll keep you posted!
