South Africa: SA Express suspends operations until further notice!

South African state-owned regional airline SA Express suspends operations from today (18 March 2020) until further notice. According to the airline, the decision was made in light of adverse recent developments including the impact of the corona virus pandemic. Customers holding bookings on flights with SA Express on or after 18 March 2020 will be accommodated on alternative flights. The airline will utilise this period to review its current network and streamline operations for improved efficiency. SA Express' route network consists of a range of 16 destinations in South Africa and regional destinations in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and the DR Congo. We'll keep you posted!
