South African private airline CemAir just announced that due to a documentation issue identified by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) in the annual audit of the CemAir AMO (Aircraft Maintenance Organization) the airline's domestic flights in South Africa have been suspended until further notice.
CemAir is working with the SACAA to resolve the issue as expeditiously as possible and will be meeting with the regulator over the weekend. Passengers booked on affected CemAir flights are advised to contact the airline. According to the press statement, CemAir is making alternate arrangements for passengers where possible. Alternately all passengers can apply for a full refund. We'll keep you posted!
