In accordance with the Botswana’s announcement on the further relaxation of international travel restrictions, the flag carrier of the country, Air Botswana, is set to resume scheduled regional operations. Effective 10 November 2020, the airline will initially offer four weekly flights between Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (GBE) in Gaborone and OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg. Based on demand, the frequency of flights will be adjusted. This is taking into account the prevalent travel conditions and protocols, still to be adhered to. Other regional destinations will be gradually introduced, including Cape Town, Harare and Lusaka.
