South Africa: The Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg is set to reopen to the public!

The Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg has announced that it will reopen to the public on 03 December 2020. The Museum is closed since 20 March 2020 due to the (ongoing) coronavirus pandemic. The Apartheid Museum will be open from Monday to Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00. The current admission fee is R100.00 for adults and R90.00 for pensioners, university students and children. Plan a two-hour visit to the Museum if you want to engage briefly with the exhibitions. The Apartheid Museum, part of the Gold Reef City complex in Johannesburg, opened in 2001 and is acknowledged as the pre-eminent Museum in the world dealing with 20th century South Africa, at the heart of which is the apartheid story.
