Airports Company South Africa (Acsa), the state-owned airport management company that operates South Africa's nine major airports, has build a new passenger link at OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg. The primary objective of the new passenger link is to reduce congestion for international passengers departing through the main Terminal A during the peak times and to channel some demand to Central Terminal B.
After checking in with their airline, passengers wishing to avoid the security and emigration checkpoints at Terminal A can now proceed through the new passenger link to the Central Terminal B security and emigration processing points. Directional signage has been put up and airline check-in staff at OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) will also direct passengers to the new international passenger link.
