According to aviation specialists routesonline, Qatar Airways is set to increase its flights between Hamad International Airport (DOH) in Doha and Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) in Windhoek. Effective 02 July 2017, the airline will operate seven weekly flights instead of the current four weekly flights on the route.
Qatar Airways will also change the type of aircraft on the Doha <> Windhoek route. Effective 27 March 2017, the Boeing 787-8 will be replaced by an Airbus A333-200.
