Five destinations in Southern & East Africa made it to list of the "World's 100 Greatest Places 2022"!

The Time Magazine, an American weekly news magazine and news website, has released its fourth annual list of the "World's 100 Greatest Places". To compile this list, the magazine solicited nominations of places from its international network of correspondents and contributors, with an eye toward those offering new and exciting experiences. Five destinations in Southern Africa and East Africa have been selected by the Time Magazine to be featured on the list of the "World's Greatest Places 2022". These are Franschhoek in South Africa, Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, the Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia, Nairobi in Kenya and Kigali in Rwanda. Congratulations!

Six destinations in Southern & East Africa made it to list of the "World's 100 Greatest Places 2021"!

The famous Time Magazine, an American weekly news magazine and news website, has released its third annual list of the "World's 100 Greatest Places". To compile this list, the magazine solicited nominations of places - including countries, regions, cities and towns - from its international network of correspondents and contributors, with an eye toward those offering new and exciting experiences. Six destinations in Southern Africa and East Africa have been selected by Time Magazine to be featured on the list of the "World's Greatest Places 2021". These are the Bazaruto Archipelago and the Chimanimani National Park in Mozambique, Kruger National Park and KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, Botswana's Okavango Delta as well as Lake Kivu in Rwanda. Congratulations!

Five locations in Southern & East Africa are among the "World's Greatest Places 2019"!

The famous Time Magazine, an American weekly news magazine and news website, has released its second annual list of the "World's Greatest Places". Based on key factors, such as quality, originality, sustainability, innovation and influence, the list showcases a variety of categories such as museums, parks, restaurants, and hotels. Five of these 100 greatest places of the year are located in Southern Africa and East Africa, namely Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique, Leopard Hill in the Mara Naboisho Conservancy (Kenya), the Omaanda Lodge in Windhoek East (Namibia), the Lekkerwater Beach Lodge in the De Hoop Nature Reserve (South Africa) and the restaurant Wolfgat in Paternoster (South Africa). Congratulations!

Five destinations in Southern & East Africa made it to list of the "World's Greatest Places 2018"!

The famous Time Magazine, an American weekly news magazine and news website, has released its first annual list of the "World's Greatest Places". Based on certain key factors, such as quality, originality, innovation, sustainability and influence, the list showcases 100 destinations from six continents and 48 countries. Four destinations in Southern Africa and East Africa made it to Time Magazine's list of the "World's Greatest Places", namely the Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town (South Africa), the Giraffe Manor Hotel in Nairobi (Kenya), the Bisate Lodge in Volcanoes National Park (Rwanda), the King Lewanika Lodge in Zambia's Liuwa Plain National Park as well as the brandnew Shipwreck Lodge in the Skeleton Coast National Park in Namibia.
