Namibia: Donkey Bay received it's first good waves for the year! (drone video)

Donkey Bay (or Skeleton Bay), located just outside of Walvis Bay on your way out to Pelican Point and actually not too far from Swakopmund, is known for having one of the world's best waves to surf. The Bay received it's first good waves for the year some days ago, so Bernt Bruns, a local from Swakopmund, took his drone up in the sky and filmed the video below... Stunning! Kudos Bernt!

The wave at Skeleton Bay was kown to Namibian surfers for many years, but only became internationally acclaimed when American surfer Brian Gable submitted the spot as an entry to Surfing Magazine's "Google Earth Challenge 2" competition in 2007.

I am not much into surfing, but the video below tells even me that the waves in Angola are wild. According to youtuber DanTheDirector (Dan Mace), who shot the video while travelling down the coast of Angola, they acutally found "one of the best waves in the world" along their way. Kudos Dan, Benji and Davey! I going to add part two of the video as soon as Dan has uploaded it! Enjoy!
