Cape Town's Atlantic Point Backpackers was named the best Hostel in Africa (and of course also in South Africa) in Hostelworld's 2012 Hoscar Awards. The Backpack, also located in Cape Town became third in the ranking based on travellers reviews. Jollyboys Backpackers in Livingstone got the best reviews in Zambia, while Shoestrings Backpackers in Victoria Falls was voted best in Zimbabwe. Milimani Backpackers in Nairobi was voted the best hostel in Kenya. Congrats!
