update (31 July 2020): The Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) in Cape Town has announced that the Museum remains temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Necessary measures to welcome back visitors safely are currently getting installed.
The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) in Cape Town, the largest museum of contemporary African art in the world, has temporarily closed its doors to the public on 17 March 2020 until further notice in light of recent developments regarding the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The re-opening of the Zeitz MOCAA will continuously be assessed and evaluated. General admission tickets already booked for will either be fully refunded or accepted for entry when the museum re-opens. We'll keep you posted!
