update (21 March 2020): The Lions Head spiral footpath, the Kramat access and the footpath is now open. The jeeptrack to Kloofnek office footpath and the footpath from Arcadia Street to Kloof Road are still closed due to fire damage until further notice. The Glen picnic area, footpath, and the cycle trail are still closed due to fire damage until further notice.
The management of Cape Town's Table Mountain National Park has announced that the main spiral foodpath up Lions Head, the Kramat access to the spiral footpath and the footpath from Arcadia Street to Kloof Road are currently closed due to fire assessment until further notice. The Glen picnic area, the footpath, and the cycle trail are also currently closed as well due to fire assessment until further notice.
Lions Head is a mountain in Cape Town between Table Mountain and Signal Hill. Lions Head, which peaks at 669 metres above sea level, is part of the Table Mountain National Park.
