Kruger National Park: SANParks commenced an aerial census of the rhino and elephant populations!

South African National Parks (SANParks) commenced an aerial census of the rhino and elephant populations in Kruger National Park on 17 August 2019. The census is being conducted by SANParks staff using helicopters and recording any sightings of black rhino, white rhino and elephants. This will cause some noise and possible disturbance at viewing areas in Kruger National Park for the next few weeks. We'll keep you posted!
