Devils pool was definitely my favorite thing to do while visiting Victoria Falls. Livingstone Island is a 5 minutes boat ride from the Royal Livingstone Hotel where we were staying and is located in the middle of the Zambezi River. Devil's Pool is right on the edge of the Victoria Falls just before the water drops off a 337 foot drop. You can only experience devils swimming pool September-December because it's so dry and the water level is way down. We swam out to the edge while holding on to rocks because the current was so strong. Definitely one of the most scariest things I've done. #devilspool #livingstoneisland #justinandbrittadventures

Victoria Falls: The Devil's Pool is closed!
The famous Devil's Pool, a rock pool right on the very edge of the mighty Victoria Falls on Livingstone Island (Livingstone side of the Falls in Zambia) has closed with immediate effect due to the high water levels. Also known as the "Armchair" or simply the "ultimate infinity pool", the pool is only accessible during the drier month of the year when the Zambezi River drops quite substantially (low water season). This usually takes place from mid-August to mid-January. Tours are/will be available.
