Ethiopia's flag carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, is set to launch flights to Argentina. The airline is planning to extend its existing service between Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (ADD) in Addis Ababa and São Paulo/Guarulhos–Governador -André Franco Montoro International Airport (GRU) in São Paulo, Brazil, to Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) in the Ezeiza Partido in Greater Buenos Aires. Ethiopian Airlines, which currently does not have local traffic rights for the GRU <> EZE sector, will operate five flights per week on board a Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

Kruger National Park: Shortage of leaded and unleaded fuel at Shingwedzi Rest Camp!
South African National Parks (SANParks) just informed travellers visiting Kruger National Park that Shingwedzi Rest Camp is experiencing a shortage of leaded and unleaded fuel. This is due to underground tank maintenance that is currently taking place at the Rest Camp from 06 November 2017 until further notice.

South Africa's most punctual domestic airlines in October 2017!
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has published the on-time performance results of domestic airlines’ flying out of OR Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg, Cape Town International Airport (CPT) in Cape Town and Durban's King Shaka International Airport (DUR) in October 2017.
On-Time Performance is measured by comparing the actual off-block time (when aircraft pushes back) against the airline schedule time for a departing flight. The measurement is done in accordance with the IATA (International Airlines Transport Association) universal standard benchmark with considers a 15 minute deviation from the scheduled time as an on-time departure.

Google Street View: Take a walk in all of South Africa's national parks!
Google has extended the existing Street View imagery of South Africa’s wilderness areas to include all 19 national parks, 17 previously "un-trekked" nature reserves and many sites of natural, cultural and historical significance in all nine provinces of South Africa. A year in the making, the project aimed to create 360° imagery of the country's wildest areas and comprised 206 South African volunteers. Google's ground partner, Drive South Africa, coordinated the collection of all imagery and volunteers. Kudos. Big time!

Cape Town: Conservation fees for Cape Point & Boulders penguin colony set to drop next year!
South African National Parks (SANParks) has announced that from 01 November 2018 differential Conservation fees for Table Mountain National Park gates (TMNP) will take effect. As a result, conservation fees for Cape Point and for the Boulders penguin colony in the Table Mountain National Park will get cheaper for South African citizens, SADC citizens and foreigners with a SA residency permit.

Air Namibia to introduce flights between Ondangwa <> Walvis Bay!
Namibia's flag carrier, Air Namibia, is set to introduce flights between Ondangwa Airport (OND) in Ondangwa in northern Nambiia and Walvis Bay Airport (WVB) in Walvis Bay on 19 November 2017. The airline will operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Air Namibia will also change the days of operation for flights between Windhoek's Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) and Lüderitz Airport (LUD) in Lüderitz as well as for flights between Windhoek and Oranjemund Airport (OMD) in Oranjemund. Effective 19 November 2017, the days of operation will change from Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to Sundays, Mondays and Fridays.

South Africa: Annual tariff increase for Mapungubwe National Park
South African National Parks (SANParks) has increased the conservation fees and the fees for several activities in the Mapungubwe National Park & World Heritage Site on 01 November 2017. The new tariffs for the National Park, which is situated outside of Musina in Limpopo, are as follows:
- daily conservation fee for adults: R48/person (South African citizens)
- daily conservation fee for childern under 12 years old: R24/person (South African citizens)
- daily conservation fee for adults: R96/person (SADC nationals)
- daily conservation fee for children: R48/person (SADC nationals)
- daily conservation fee for adults: R192/person (international visitors)
- daily conservation fee for children: R96/person (international visitors)
- Heritage tour: R245/Person
- Game drive: R300/adult & R150/child
