The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has released the Seasonal Climate Watch for the period December 2022 to April 2023. According to the multi-model rainfall forecast, above-normal rainfall is expected for most parts of South Africa from December 2022 all the way to April 2023. Minimum temperatures are still expected to be mostly above-normal countrywide, however, maximum temperatures are expected to be below-normal over most of South Africa during December 2022 to April 2023.
