British Airways cabin crew strike: some South Africa flights affected

According to the BA.com none of the scheduled Cape Town flights are affected, but the airline is asking passengers to constantly monitor the airline’s website for updated flight information. The following Johannesburg flights show currently (25 May 2010) as cancelled on BA.com:
  • 26 May 2010: BA 0054 JNB-LHR
  • 27 May 2010: BA0033 LHR-JNB
  • 28 May 2010: BA0056 JNB-LHR
  • 29 May 2010: BA 0034 JNB-LHR 
UPDATE (27 May 2010):
Cancelled flights to and from Johannesburg include:
  • 30 May 2010 BA0034 JNB-LHR (and on 2, 3 June)
  • 30 May 2010 BA0033 LHR-JNB (and on 1, 3 June)
  • 30 May 2010 BA0055 LHR-JNB May 30
 All flights to and from Cape Town will operate as normal.

UPDATE (31 May 2010):
All flights into and out of London Gatwick and London City airports will operate normally.
All flights to and from London City and London Gatwick will continue to operate normally with a full onboard service.
Some flights to and from London Heathrow will operate with a slightly simplified onboard service.
    BA passengers due to fly between 30 May to - 09 June 2010 should make use of the "flight checker" on BA.com to check if their flight is one of the services the airline intends to operate.
