German leisure airline Condor is set to extend its seasonal flights from Frankfurt Airport (FRA) in Frankfurt, Germany, and Cape Town International Airport (CPT) in Cape Town, offering travellers more opportunities to experience South Africa’s iconic landscapes and vibrant city life. Initially scheduled to end in April 2026, the flights will now continue from 02 May 2026 until 22 May 2026, giving holidaymakers extra flexibility for late-spring travel.
During this extended season, Condor will operate three weekly flights between Germany and South Africa. Flight DE2290 departs Frankfurt on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while the return service, Flight DE2291, leaves Cape Town on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This schedule makes it easier for travellers to plan both short city breaks and longer adventures in and around Cape Town, including the Cape Winelands, Table Mountain, and the Cape Peninsula.
For those searching for direct flights from Germany to South Africa in May 2026, Condor’s extended schedule provides a convenient and comfortable option, connecting Europe to one of Africa’s most popular tourist destinations.
