Video: 17min TED talk about colalife
Browsing through my tweetdeck after lunch I stumbled over this very interesting tweet:
I followed the link and started watching the 17min TED video about colalife and loved it. colalife a charity that aims to use Coca Cola's distribution channels to provide remote communities in third world countries with essential medication and water cleaning tablets.
In the video the founder of colalife, Simon Berry, is giving the TED Berlin audience a sum-up of how they started colalife back in 1988, what the basic idea of colalife is and where they are at right now.
For more information about colalife please visit them on facebook or on their website!

TEDtalks - Hans Rosling debunking myths about the so-called "developing world".
Hans Rosling is a Professor of International Health at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. He is known to be a "statistic guru" and also got described as presenting his data with the "drama and urgency of a sportscaster". Rosling is the co-founder of the Gapminder Foundation, which is aimed to promote a fact-based world view through increased use and understanding of freely accessible public statistics. A good example for his work and appearance is the following video which shows Rosling at a TED conference in 2006.
TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED). See their website for more info.
