The Namibia Business Innovation Center (NBIC) has released the brandnew Windhoek City Guide that will help visitors to Namibia's capital to navigate through the city. The City Guide covers various topics, such as exploring Windhoek for just N$100 per day, transport options in the city, Windhoek's best restaurants and pubs, as well as where to find great crafts, designs, art and culture. A printed edition of the City Guide is also available (N$20) and can be purchased from the Namibia Business Innovation Center, the Stellenbosch Wine Bar, Pure & Simple and from Mao (all in Windhoek).

eDreams to sponsor Worldreader.org
One of Europe's largest online travel agencies, eDreams, is currently (throughout November 2010) supporting the NGO Worldreader.org by donating $1 to the NGO for every person who joins their new Facebook causes page. Great initiative, eDreams. So, please, you readers of this blog out there, join the cause and support the work of Worldreader.org.
Worldreader.org’s mission is to make digital books available to all in the developing world, enabling millions of people to improve their lives. Emerging e-book technology is sharply reducing the cost and complexity of delivering reading material everywhere.
