Air Tanzania to launch flights between Dar es Salaam <> Guangzhou!

Tanzania's national airline, Air Tanzania, is set to launch scheduled flights between Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam and Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) in Guangzhou via Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok, Thailand, in February 2019. The airline will operate three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on board a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner. Guangzhou is China's third largest city, after Beijing and Shanghai.

Kenya Airways & Hong Kong Airlines signed a codeshare agreement!

Hong Kong Airlines from Hong Kong and Kenya's flag carrier Kenya Airways have signed a codeshare agreement. Under the agreement, Kenya Airways places its "KQ" code on Hong Kong Airlines' flights between Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) in Bangkok and Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) in Hong Kong. The new codeshare agreement is effective immediately.

Thai Airways to end operations to South Africa!

The flag carrier airline of Thailand, Thai Airways, has confirmed that it is ending its operations to South Africa. The airline will operate its last service between Bangkok <> Johannesburg on 14 January 2015.

Thai Airways to increase its service between Bangkok <> Johannesburg

update (12 June 2013): Due to aircraft rotation, Thai Airways will temporarily (August & September 2013) reduce its service between Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg from currently four weekly flights to three weekly flights.

The national flag carrier of Thailand, Thai Airways, is increasing its service between the airline's main hub in Bangkok and Johannesburg in South Africa. From 31 March 2013/01 April 2013 Thai Airways will add one weekly frequency on Fridays between the two destinations, so that it will then operate a total of four flights per week to South Africa.
From its hub at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thai Airways is currently flying to 75 destinations in 35 countries, using a fleet of more than 80 aircraft. The airline is a founding member of the Star Alliance, the world's first and largest global airline alliance.

Kenya Airways signs code share agreement with Vietnam Airlines

The national carrier of Kenya, Kenya Airways, and the national flag carrier of Vietnam, Vietnam Airlines, have signed a code share agreement. The two airlines, which are both members of the SkyTeam alliance, are currently activating a reciprocal code share agreement. 
Under the agreement with Vietnam Airlines, Kenya Airways passengers will be able to travel from Nairobi via Bangkok (Thailand) on to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam and vice versa daily. While Vietnam Airlines will code share on daily Kenya Airways service between Bangkok and Nairobi
Kenya Airways is currently flying to 59 destinations worldwide, 47 of which are in Africa and carries over three million passengers annually.
