Zambian regional airline Proflight Zambia has unveiled a series of flight schedule enhancements across its domestic and regional network. These updates are designed to improve travel flexibility, enhance passenger comfort, and strengthen connectivity for both business and leisure travellers.
Expanded Lusaka – Johannesburg schedule
To meet rising demand and provide greater travel options, Proflight Zambia will continue operating two daily flights between Lusaka and Johannesburg, a critical route for regional business and international long-haul connections.
Starting 27 September 2025, the airline will introduce a third daily service on Saturdays and Sundays, including selected high-demand travel dates during the holiday season. This additional evening flight -P0028 - departs Lusaka at 16:30 and arrives in Johannesburg at 18:30. The return leg, P0029, leaves Johannesburg at 20:30 and lands in Lusaka at 22:30.
These convenient evening flights will run on weekends and selected weekdays from 01 December 2025 to 03 January 2026, offering smooth connections to global destinations such as Australia and the USA, while eliminating the need for overnight stays in Johannesburg.
Updated timings & extra frequency on Lusaka – Cape Town (via Livingstone)
