West Coast National Park's spectacular 2025 wildflower season begins: Postberg now open!

South African National Parks (SANParks) has officially kicked off the much-anticipated wildflower season in the West Coast National Park, running from 01 August 2025 to 30 September 2025. Each year, this natural spectacle transforms the park into a kaleidoscope of color - drawing thousands of visitors to experience the iconic Cape floral display.
The Postberg section, typically closed for most of the year, is now open to the public during this limited wildflower window. This seasonal access offers a rare and unforgettable opportunity to witness the breathtaking bloom of daisies, vygies, and other indigenous flora unique to the region.
