The state-owned flag carrier of Qatar,
Qatar Airways, will increase its number of flights between its main hub in Doha and the capital of
Kenya,
Nairobi. From 01 Sept 2013
10 Sept 2013 the airline will operate 18 flights per week instead of the current 14 flights per week between the two destinations. Earlier this year,
Qatar Airways signed a partnership with budget operator
Fly540 in a move that will boost its footprint in the region and deepen its rivalry with
Kenya Airways.
